Here’s a video showing you that Windows 95 can run on the iPad via an emulator. Now, there’s probably no point in running Win95 but this gives us more clues that perhaps there’s a way to run Windows 7 on the iPad. If that’s possible, it will open up more possibilities. I wouldn’t mind having an iPad if it can run both Windows 7 and Ubuntu under some kind of emulator-support (plus networking should work).

DIY iPad Duct Tape Sleeve!

Yes, someone has managed to make a really-redneck-like iPad sleeve out of duct tape.   We can’t blame him though as duct tape has thousands of uses including waterproofing and can even fix a plane wing.

I actually like it a lot, the duct tape’s natural grey color matches the iPad perfectly.

iPad Hack – How to Charge iPad via Computer USB Ports!

For those of you who have been complaining that your iPad doesn’t charge via a regular USB port on your computer or laptop, here’s some clarification from my friend Greg over at GetUSB.info that it will charge if you put it in sleep mode:

The iPad will power over USB ports with “high power” while in use.

    The iPad will [obviously] charge when used with the supplied 10 watt power adapter. The iPad will not charge over lower powered USB ports while “in use”  however, they will charge when asleep.
