Here’s a fun hack you can try if you have a Droid or an Android phone with a keyboard, run DosBox and install Windows 3.1 or maybe run Quake off DOS.

What’s the point?  It’s a great way to re-live your past misadventures like I erased command.com the first day I bought my computer 386DX back in 1989.

Yesterday, I stumbled onto a cool hack where this guy has supposedly found a way to run Windows 3.1 on his Droid smartphone.  Upon closer investigation, I found out that you can inde

Android Hack – How to Download and Install Paid Apps for FREE on your Nexus One, Droid, or Other Android Phone!

I found this hack on YouTube by a kid named Ray, who shows you how to download and install paid apps for free.  Of course, it’s probably illegal and we highly recommend to buy your apps and it’s informational purposes ONLY!

Basically what you do is do a Google search for any .apk files. For example, if you wanted an app called Picaso (just making it up), do a Google search for Picaso.apk.

Download the apk file, copy it to your phone’s SD card, then use apkInstaller to install

Droid Hack – How to Install Thai(and Other Language Fonts on the Droid!

You know my friend has just got the Droid couple months ago.  Well, the problem is that the Droid and all Android 2.0.1 or 2.1 operating systems don’t support the Thai language (and many other languages) by default.

He asked me to see if I can change that since he read a lot of Thai websites and not being able to read Thai on his Droid sucked.

Droid Hack – How to Add Multi-Touch to Your Droid!

I guess the European Motorola Droid has multi-touch features while the U.S. version don’t, here’s how you can hack the Droid to enable multi-touch on your U.S. version too.

Of course, you might risk bricking your Droid completely useless (although I find that hard to believe if it’s Android-based) so follow directions *carefully*!

For those of you late-adapters, you might want to wait as Droid probably will support multi-touch soon through software updates.
