iPad Hack – How to Use your iPad Micro Sim card for your iPhone!

For those of you who want to use your iPad’s cheap $29.99 a month data plan on your iPhone or any other device (that supports AT&T), you can use this simple hack of cutting out an old credit card then making the micro SIM card fit a regular-sized SIM card.  And yes, insert it into the phone.  Your voice won’t work but this is a great way to get a cheap broadband data if you don’t need to use iPhone as a phone.  (AT&T drops calls like crazy so why bother?)

Here’s some good news for those of you who have not been able to sync your jailbroken iPhones to iTunes, do it wireless using app called WiFi-sync.  The app itself is $10 bucks but I’d say it’s all well worth it if you can keep using your jailbroken iPhones with iTunes, all the while ditching USB connection to sync it too.

FINALLY! Someone got iPhone hacked to run Google Android, this shows the versatility of Google’s Android mobile OS. Now, can you run iPhone OS on anything else than iPhone? Probably not and why would you want to?

iPad Hack – How to Use your iPhone 3Gs as Camera for the iPad!

The iPad doesn’t come with a camera (unfortunately) but someone has figured out how to use your iPhone 3Gs as camera for your iPad via 2 camera apps and bluetooth connection.  This might be a great method for those of you who carry both an iPhone 3Gs and an iPad to enable camera.  Of course, I think this is only for taking photos/videos but still a solution.

All you need to do is download the Camera A and

DIY RFID Reader for iPhone!

Someone hack hacked their jailbroken iPhone to read RFID tags.  I think this could be a great way for companies to use old iPhones as RFID readers for their warehouse.  Smartphones are too valuable these days to be thrown away after use but turning them back into functional gadgets like this will be great for our environment.

I do remember at CES 2010 this year, they were using old, recycled Blackberries to read people’s tickets, that was a great idea.

The idea behind this project is to see what the iPhone’s serial is capable of and to try and have a litt

Why Apple is Scared of Google and What They are Really Afraid of.

Yesterday I mentioned why Apple shouldn’t be suing HTC for the main reasons that they did not invent the multi-touch surface nor multi-touch gestures.

Today, let me get into the details of exactly why Apple is scared of Google and what they are really afraid of.

First of all, Google Android operating system is based on Java running on top of linux. Java has not been too popular as desktop platform but it has been making a lot of progress for embedded

Apple Sues HTC and Why Apple doesn’t own any Multi-Touch/Gesture Patents!

Apple is probably one of the companies I have tried hard to like, I was even going to buy an iPad just a few hours ago (even though I hated its features lacking multi-tasking/no camera) but it seems like with the recent news that Apple is going to sue HTC, I might have to re-think and boycott Apple for another couple years. (My last Apple purchase was back in 2006 for an iPod Touch, I have boycotted their products since then, espe
