Samsung Fascinate Launch Date?

It seems like it won’t be too long before Samsung Fascinate will be launched in early September as our sources indicate that Verizon is already stocking the new Samsung Fascinate Android smartphones in their warehouses while MTV Awards (which will be held on September 12th) will be sponsored by Samsung Fascinate and Verizon Wireless.

This all means that we can expect a similar launch to the Droid 2, which was pretty low profile and for those of you who have been waiting eagerly for your new Samsung Fascinate, you might just get it in the next week or two.

Droid 2 Hacks – How to Root Droid 2!

UPDATE: See step-by-step instructions on how to root Droid 2!

Yippty yo, only after a little than a week after Droid 2 launched, devs have been able to figure out how to root the Droid 2.

What does this give you?

All the super-permission you want so you can get free wifi tethering, delete apps you don’t want permanently, and of course we should soon see some custom ROMs we can install.

I will be rooting my Droid 2 later today and hopefully have some step-by-step

T-Mobile G2 Spy Shots!

I have a pretty good gut feeling that T-Mobile’s G2 phone will set the standard for Android smartphones in year 2011.  Of course, next year you won’t be able to expect Nexus One from Google but T-Mobile’s Google G2 Phone will be where Google’s putting their money at.

These are the first spy shots of the T-Mobile G2 with a 3.7-inch screen and a QWERTY keyboard.  From what it looks, this could be the thinnest Android phone ever that has a QWERTY keyboard.

Man, I want one!

Supercomputing on Android Smartphones!

Looks like researchers at MIT are gunning for supercomputer on Android smartphones.

I was actually thinking this the other day, what am I going to do with all my old Android smartphones when I get them out of contract?

Solution? You can still use them as media players or yup, connect thousands of them in parallel and use it to power web servers for Zedomax.

Not sure if this will last more than a couple days or even hours but Amazon has put up Samsung Vibrant Android Smartphone for sale at just one penny, YES ONE PENNY!

In my opinion, this is the deal of the century or at least this year.  Samsung Vibrant is a really nice phone, I am lovin’ mine.
