Here’s some benchmarking tests between the LG Optimus 2X and Google Nexus S.
First up is NeoCore, which shows us how many frames per second each phone can do:
LG Optimus 2X edges out the Nexus S with 75.8fps to 55.7fps.
In the next test, we do the Linpack:
For Linpack, Optimus 2X wins again with around 35MFLOPS while Nexus S gets around 13MFLOPS.
In the last test, we used Quandrant benchmarking app to compare the Optimus 2X and Nexus S.
For Optimus 2X, we got a whopping score of 2578.
For the Nexus S, we got a score of 1668.
Overall, even though the Optimus 2X is still running Android 2.2 Froyo while the Nexus S ran 2.3 Gingerbread, Optimus 2X came out on top because its dual-core Tegra 2 processor is just way too powerful.
Of course, this isn’t a fair battle so we will have another battleout between the Optimus 2X and the Atrix 4G, both dual-core smartphones.
