Last week I was over in South Korea and noticed one of these portable elevators from a moving company. I don’t know if they have this in other parts of the world but I know they are not common here in the U.S.
I live in an apartment in San Francisco with majority students who move out every 3 months or so and it’s a pain when they start taking over the resident elevators. Sometimes the students try to force their giant mattresses and couches into the elevator, causing havoc and 1 elevator for the rest of 500 people that live in my apartment.
Anyways, if they had this for moving, it would make my life (and many others who live in high-rise apartments) whole lot easier.
