Today, I just received the Sigma 10-20mm DSLR lens for my Canon 7D DSLR camera and I have to say this is one of the better investments I made. I actually got it so I can take better photos and videos in the upcoming CES 2011 consumer electronics show in Las Vegas.
One of the problems with my 28-135mm basic lens that came with my camera is that when there’s not enough space, I can’t fit everything I want into my photos and videos.
The Sigma 10-20mm lens lets me exactly that, I can take a photo/video of my whole apartment. There’s other better lenses like Canon 10-22mm and more but I rather some of my money since I don’t really do photography or filmmaking for a living. And for that purpose, I highly recommend this lens, it should be in your DSLR bag for sheezy.
Here’s a quick test video I took with my new Sigma 10-20mm lens:
Oh yeah one more thang, this Sigma 10-20mm is so GREAT for taking self-portrait shots.
