Galaxy Tab has sold 1 million units in the last 2 months worldwide. But since Galaxy Tab was intro-ed in the U.S. and South Korea just over 2 weeks ago, it might be possible that they will sell a whole bunch more in the upcoming weeks. Especially with the holiday season around the corner, there will be a lot more Galaxy Tab sales now than ever.
In contrast, Apple’s iPad also hit about 1 million units in just a month of its launch. The comparison is a bit different here since Galaxy Tab was not introduced in the U.S. first but certainly Galaxy Tab is proving itself to be wildly popular among the public.
Last week, I had the chance to visit South Korea, they had this Galaxy Tab Store (sorta like Apple Store) with a bunch of Korean Galaxy Tabs that can do DMB TV (live air TV):
Due to FCC, we probably won’t get to see that version of Galaxy Tab here in the U.S. but you can clearly see the Korean Galaxy Tab is superior to the iPad with its live air TV capability.
In the other news, we will be starting a new Android blog dedicated to Android news called “AndroidGangsters.com”, so watch out for that too.
