It seems like Sprint is running real low on their supply of HTC Evo 4G.
I can contest to that by the number of visitors I get on HTCEvoHacks.com versus PalmPre-Hacks.com and NexusOneHacks.net, the web traffic coming to my HTC Evo Hacks blog site is about 3-5 times more than the Palm Pre and Nexus One as seen in graphs below.
From those figures, I can roughly predict that Sprint has sold about 3 to 5 times more HTC Evo 4Gs and that number is probably in several millions at the least, not too surprised Sprint can barely keep up with the demand.
Also note that HTCEvoHacks.com is still less than a month old and I don’t even think we’ve reached a plateau yet, thinking it will keep growing as the user base of HTC Evo 4G grows.
On the side note, I am lovin’ my HTC Evo 4G, it let’s me do things I couldn’t do before, especially getting 4G in 4G areas (where I have uploaded 50MB YouTube videos in like 3 minutes), the on-board macro-recording of Evo 4G is exceptional.
No other than Sprint CEO Dan Hesse has declared spot shortage for the HTC EVO 4G, something that they did not expect. Apparently this is all traced to the unexpected demand for the HTC EVO 4G, becoming more popular than it was originally anticipated.
