While I was waiting in line, Sprint reps try to sell their HDMI cable for $29.99 when you can get it on Amazon for like 14 bucks!
Anyways, if you are going to Sprint store later to buy HTC Evo 4G, don’t buy the HDMI cable there, it’s just a regular micro-HDMI to HDMI cable you can get on Amazon.
Also, you can check out our HTC Evo 4G Accessories page for other stuff you might need with your new supersonic phone.

The HTC EVO 4G, uses type “D” HDMI, aka micro hdmi. Good luck getting the $8 one on Amazon mini (type “C”) to fit into that port on the phone.
HDMI Type D: A Micro connector defined in the HDMI 1.4 specification, it keeps the standard 19 pins of Types A and C but shrinks the connector size to something resembling a micro-USB connector. The Type D connector is 2.8 mm × 6.4 mm, whereas the Type C connector is 2.42 mm × 10.42 mm;[55] for comparison, a micro-USB connector is 2.94 mm × 7.8 mm.
