Verizon and Google Working on an Android Tablet!

It hasn’t been too long since Adobe demo-ed their Android Tablet prototype.  Here’s some more exciting news that Verizon and Google have been working (already) on an Android Tablet.

This confirms Adobe’s rep’s word that there will be a “slew” of Android tablets available at the end of the year. Looks like Apple will have a tough time next year, at least they will have to come up with better excuses for broken websites on the iPad.

And for those of you holding out on the iPad, it might simply be smart to wait for Android tablets as they will most likely be half the price of an iPad with consumer “choices”.  On top of that, you can expect faster/reliable network speeds from Verizon than AT&T.

My honest guess is that this will be a Google-branded tablet selling on Verizon exclusively, sorta like the Nexus One on T-Mobile when it started out.

I just wonder what they will call it if that’s the case, “Nexus Tablet” or “Nexus Two”???  Well, let me keep guessin’.

Mr. Adams, Chief Executive of Verizon says,

What do we think the next big wave of opportunities are?

We’re working on tablets together, for example. We’re looking at all the things Google has in its archives that we could put on a tablet to make it a great experience.
