You ever wonder how those professional photographers take close-up photos of tigers and lions without them getting eaten? I don’t know but here’s a solution that might change everything about wildlife photography, a DSLR camera strapped onto a remote-controlled robot-like car.
Will and Matt Burrard-Lucas built BeetleCam to get a new perspective on African animals. BeetleBot is controlled remotely from a Range Rover about 50 yards away, and has gotten into quite few shenanigans:
