For those of you who have weak walls (plaster) that can’t hold a full-size HDTV, you might want to try this cool DIY HDTV Pole Mount that could allow you to put that HDTV anywhere you’d like. Honestly, I think this is very functional and stylish, perhaps would work well for many unwarranted situations. Even better, you might be able to make the pole rotate and put that HDTV in the center of your livingroom, think outside the box.
“I wanted a TV stand to mount my 32” LCD. I fabricated the two rails that attach to the TV from steel shelf bracket vertical rails. It was just a matter of drilling three holes in each rail to match the TV mounting holes and a center hole for attaching to the Stolmen pole. The angle bracket is from a Stolmen clothes rail installation kit.
