Pieter Abbeel, Assistant Professor of UC Berkely has created a robot that can fold towels. Of course, my wish is that the robot could fold my underwear, T-shirts, you get the idea. When that day comes, it will be a lot of fun to do (or order my robot) laundry. Looks like we are not too far away though.

The reliability and robustness of our algorithm enables for the first time a robot with general purpose manipulators to reliably and fully-autonomously fold previously unseen towels, demonstrating success on all 50 out of 50 single-towel trials as well as on a pile of 5 towels.
