Here’s a hack from the guys at Hackaday showing you how to make a mains crossover cable that will allow you to transfer your AC power from one plug into another AC “source”. For example, if you have a tool shed in your yard and you wanted to transfer AC power to another AC “source”, this could be very useful.
Of course, don’t forget that you should read up on exactly how AC power works as doing it wrong could be *highly shocking* indeed. Also, you should make sure to test it first before using it, perhaps turn off your fuse box before plugging it in for the first time.
If all else fails, I would just use a very long AC extension power cable.
