For those of you who want to add bluetooth connection to your Kindle DX for connecting your bluetooth devices (such as bluetooth audio), you are lucky because a Kindle DX user has hacked it already, you can see full details on how to add bluetooth to your Kindle DX here using Sparkfun’s Bluetooth Mate.
I created a new user ‘ppp’ on the Kindle, and set it up to launch pppd on login. Getting ppp to work took some fiddling, but I eventually got it right. I ended up putting my own compile of a ssh server on it, created a ssh key, and voila!
