Well, a lot of interesting things happened today, I met Matt, the founder of WordPress while waiting for teriyaki chicken (which is the best teriyaki chicken in the world btw, I go to SFO airport just to eat this teriyaki chicken sometimes) at SFO, he gave me his “personal” card (nice cards btw Matt) and TWO WordPress stickers which I promptly sticked on my laptop so I can shamelessly promote WordPress while I live blog at CES 2010. 🙂
I am now in Luxor Hotel, looking over (or blocked by) couple buildings but I can see Mandalay Bay’s signage barely. My internet is slow but oh well, I will get through it. (I will be at the show most of the time anyways.)
It’s been about 8 years since last time I stayed at Luxor, I used to come here a lot btw. The place has gotten a little beat up I guess, not as “new” as I used to know it as. Still, you can’t beat staying inside a pyramid without a trip to Egypt. Above is a screenshot of the “diagonal” stairs where I take smoke breaks and sometimes watch drunk people make trips all the way to the top, I think this happens at every hotel with a casino, don’t ask me why.
Where are the mummies?
Okay, seriously, I need some sleep, tomorrow is a big day, expect LOTS of blogging and videos!
Blog, blogging, and blog some more…
