Happy New Year!

You know I live in San Francisco and every year the media “lies” to us by re-playing the New York Happy New Year countdown after it has been played live in New York 3 hours ago. Oh well, I guess that’s the only thing that sucks about living in California. The thing that annoys me the most is that they leave the “live” sign on while re-playing the New York Happy New Year countdown.
Otherwise, HAPPY NEW YEAR!
Here’s a video of Happy New Year in Seoul, South Korea:

You know, in Korea, they ring this super-loud, ancient (traditional) bell on New Year’s to mark the new year. I believe they do this in China and Japan too.
Also, did you know people in Asia had their New Years about 15-20 hours before any of us did here in the U.S.?
I was also thinking, the last people who celebrate New Years countdown is Hawaii?
Oh yeah, one more before we start the New Years with mind-bogging CES 2010 blog posts and videos, watch these awesome fireworks that went off in the UK by the London Bridge:

…and a Happy New Year!
P.S. For the second year in a row, I stayed away from bars and clubs, I think this is a great day to celebrate yet I fear to be among with the crazy crowd and spend hundreds of dollars. (which I used to do…)
Oh yeah, next year, I am definitely going on a New Years Cruise to watch the fireworks, that’s definitely worth it.
