For those of you who are going to try making your own Christmas cards this year, I have couple tips you might want to follow.
First, you might want to use the right type of paper for making your own Christmas cards and the “Brochure and Flyer” Matte paper might be the best for the job.
But try to avoid photo paper as they are hellaciously expensive and do not fold right.
Second, if you are already familiar with Photoshop and printing with it, go ahead and make your design go wild. Also, if it’s for personal use, my suggestion is to grab all of those free images available out there through Google Search or even Bing. I know they are copyrighted but if it’s for personal use, no one is going to care. Plus, it’s Christmas!
Of course, there’s some great free Christmas Card templates like this one from HooverWebDesign.com for anyone who’s not too familiar with graphic design.
If all else fails, you can always head to your local Hallmark and get some Christmas cards there.
Don’t try too hard and make sure to add some personal touch/lots of photos to your personalized Christmas cards.
Happy Holidays and Merry Christmas!
