One of my other foods while drinking wine is Prosciutto, other than smoked salmon. (Honestly, I think they taste very similar) I have never heard of it nor taste it before one of my Italian friends showed me on a trip to Tahoe. It had the addiction rate near any other hardcore drugs out there and ever since then, I do enjoy eating a lot of Prosciutto whenever my wallet can afford it.
Anyways, I’ve always been wondering how they make this proscuiutto, basically pig ham cut into very thin slices.
Here’s a couple resources you can check out on making prosciutto yourself, I just want to know how they do it but would probably buy at your local authentic Italian meat shop.
