Thanks for the link. I know the some of the unlock services cost a bit. For the Sidekicks it is at least 60 dollars to get one done.
When you have a t-mobile contract for at least 90 days, you can call t-mobile and they will send you an unlock code for FREE via e-mail. I did that with my T-Mobile Dash before going to Switzerland last February and I had the code within 24 hours. This way I was able to use a pre-paid card over there, rather then paying for roaming.

this is a hoax the picture is of the g1 using an at&t tower not an actual unlocked g1
T-mobile will unlock your phone for FREE. Just call and ask. I cannot believe people make money off this.
