It looks like there’s now a “pre-pay” solution to saving some money on by purchasing gas in advance.

The high price of gasoline has some U.S. drivers looking to the future.
A recently introduced service called MyGallons.com allows drivers to fill up their tanks sometime in the future but at current prices, using a debit-like card which banks gallons rather than dollars.
“The price of gasoline was changing all the time. It seemed unpredictable,” Steven Verona, founder and owner of the Miami-based company, said on Monday.

To save any money I would have to be able to auto refill my gas card at 30 cent less then I could but the gas for.
If not then the fees would cost me more than buying the gas would. This if for a 10 gallon fill-up. I fill my car when I only need 6 gallon there for it would have to be 40 cent cheaper. This company I just not going to sell me gas for 40 cents less then the pump price unless I can buy gas today and the price goes up 40 cent tomorrow. But still If i do not average a 40 cent saving I am losing money. This company works off of tricking people into thinking they will save money.
