Hi all,
This is a special review of giant green lasers on the market today.
Since I was getting tired of my little measly 125mW green laser from DragonLasers, I was going to go on shopping for a super-giagantic laser that will fulfill my dreams. (So I can burn stuff from miles away from my 12th floor apartment without getting caught…)

Crossfire EX 600mW
Wow, I was impressed with this super-gigantic green laser from TechLaser.com. The Crossfire EX 600mW green laser even comes with its own case. (Wish they made that an option so I don’t have to pay for the case but…I guess this thing is pretty big and you need a big case for it) At a price tag of $2,649.99, it’s a risky buy but this laser does have the “best” specs on power out of any other gigantic green lasers listed in this review.
The Crossfire EX is a complete laser gear package designed for outdoor travel. The set includes one Crossfire laser, LaserShades for eye protection and a rugged, lightweight, durable travel case to protect your laser. The Crossfire EX also comes with an sturdier imported keyswitch for better durability replacing the ones orignally from CNI.
Hulk Ultra 400mW
Next up is Hulk Ultra from DragonLasers.com. Frank from DragonLasers.com sent me numerous samples of their 125mW green lasers before, every green laser he sent me lasted me a long time and worked great. I just need to move onto the “big” boys now.
Anyways, The Hulk Ultra actually varies between 400 to 600mW in output power, meaning this super-gigantic laser is probably the best for your money at $1499.99. The laser also comes with safety goggles, batteries, and battery charge, all included for free.
With a power range of 250mW to more than 500mW and a host of safety features, the Hulk Ultra series lasers is the ideal combination of high power and safety. The Hulk Ultra also comes with free laser safety glasses, making the Hulk Ultra ideal for people who want extreme power and safety.
- On/off switch for hands free use.
- A protective lens shutter.
- Indicator LED, interlock and key switch.
- Safe and secure operation.
- Outstanding burning ability.
- Solid shell with improved heat sink design.
- State of the art diode technology.
- Built in protective infra red (IR) filter.
- Free professional laser safety glasses.
- Free universal charger and rechargeable batteries.

Spyder II GS
Next up at bat is Spyder II GS from WickedLasers.com. This Spyder super-gigantic green laser does look pretty awesome with 6061-T6 Aircraft-Grade Aluminum casting. I don’t if that’s necessary but it does make the green laser look great and probably make it last longer. The laser is also “water-proof” up to 30 meters, which is probably its strongest point. I don’t know if you could take it surfing with you but this laser does seem the most rugged out of the three super-gigantic green lasers we reviewed today.
The Spyder II GS is rated at 200 to 300mW in output power.
At price tag of $1699.99, it’s a pretty good spend for 200 to 300mW of power but remember you do get “aircraft aluminum” casting and “water-proof” casing, that’s probably where the extra cost went to.
The best just got better. The new military-grade Spyder II™ GX is encased in a lightweight 6061-T6 aerospace aluminum shell. The laser body is Military Type III black anodized to protect against scratches. All Spyder II™ lasers are completely airtight and waterproof up to 30 meters, making it the perfect tool for tactical applications. The Spyder II™ GX is a wicked masterpiece showcasing Wicked Lasers’ revolutionary Tesla™ cooling technology. The Spyder II™ GX laser is designed to operate under the most demanding of conditions, and is the first portable laser equipped with thermoelectric cooling. With a 100% duty cycle, the Spyder™ II GX has the most burning and beam visibility capabilities Wicked Lasers has to offer. Powered by a single 18650 high capacity lithium battery, the Spyder II™ GX is visible for hundreds of miles, and is a glimpse into the future of green laser technology.

Overview
Remember, these 300 to 600mW green lasers are really powerful and probably will cause blindness if you point at a person’s eye for more than 20 seconds.
A lot of people ask me, especially my friends, “Why do you need a green laser?”. I tell them, “You shoot it at the sky at night and watch the green laser brighten the sky for miles and miles.” That’s right, the green laser is really for entertainment, it’s cool! Wouldn’t you want to have one?
If you want to get started with green lasers, I do highly recommend going with a 125mW green laser. (This’d cost you anywhere around from $349.99 to $399.99 over at DragonLasers.com or WickedLasers.com.
What is your favorite? And if you have tried any of the lasers listed, please leave a comment.

What sinister dreams! Jokes apart, very impressive stuff there, though extremely expensive just for fun IMO.
That there hobby is a mighty expensive one my friend. I would not be able to afford such an indulgence!
Looks like fun, make sure that you always wear the correct laser safety eye protection in accordance with the wavelength of the laser.
Laser Man
Good advice, although I have never worn any protection before. I believe all green lasers have wavelength of 532nm so you’d only need one type of laser protection for green lasers, right?
Lol…well I just keep writing reviews and maybe someone will send me a sample.
Definitely, Green Lasers are the shi+
I shall pray for you!
Awesome video,Thanks for your sharing.
for the most part the wavelength is the same but what if you are with some friends who have a blue violet or red laser i dont think that your ppe (personal protective equipment) will protect against that different wave length becuase your eyes are sensitive to different wavelengths or colors and see each on at a different level of the em spectrum
