Monkey controls a Robot with Brain Power!

A monkey controls a robot w/ his brain! Need I say more?  I wonder what the monkey would do if they hooked him up to a King Kong robot…

In a first-of-its-kind experiment, the brain activity of a monkey has been used to control the real-time walking patterns of a robot halfway around the world, according to researchers at Duke University Medical Center.

The Duke team is working with the Computational Brain Project of the Japan Science and Technology Agency (JST) on technology they hope will one day help those with paralysis regain the ability to walk.

It shouldn’t be too long before they replace the monkey with humans huh?

Anyone up to be the first guinea-monkey?

This is scarry cuz with tecnology like this in the works men would be able to achive imortallity if you think about it or something close i mean think about it
if you could sustian the human brian in a capsel and constantly feed it and keep it in health computerized blood circulation and a way to restore brian cells which is in the works and scintest belive they just found a way to do that recently you could put a mans brian anywhere in the world and he would be able to move around as a robot forever
thats f-in scarry to think we may actually live to see things like this..
