HOWTO Assemble and Solder
First get the module sockets on like shown here:
(There's no top or bottom, so just stick it on the board.)
Solder the back of the Proto-board like shown here:
Next, get the regulator on your Proto-board and you can screw in
the hole with screw and nuts that are provided.
Next, get the capacitors on like shown here, making sure to use the right
capacitor for each location. Also note that the capacitors have + and -.
Once you have solder them, you can put on your serial port connector.
Now put in the DC adaptor jack:
The back of proto-board should be somewhat like this
with all the parts soldered.
Next get your red LED on the board making sure to let the longer side go into +.
Okay we are almost done.
Next, solder the optional power supply connector.
Soldering is easy, just get some lead and soldering tool and voila!
Next, get the diodes and the resistors in like shown here:
(Diodes must be in the right direction where as resistors can be soldered either direction)
Get your pushbutton on the board like this:
Solder on the 1K resistor by the module:
You should end up with a nice Proto-board like this:
Connect a DC power source between 9 to 24V and a serial cable to the Proto-board.
Check that you can download a sample program using CublocStudio on your PC.
