Wow, this drum piano is the coolest thing ever. Although you do miss the physical part of actually drummin’ on your equipment, this is a nifty device for those of you good with the piano but not with the drums. It looks like there are hydraulic actuators on it to control all the drum sticks. Anyways, this is cool…

On the site note, I have been slacking on posts lately. We had to move a lot of stuff out of our site which was slowing our site down. We will have them up and running again since we will be moving to a new server very soon~

Check out this cool Multi-Touch Multimedia device. This could be a cool combination of touch, sound, and video for future video game controls.

MultiTouch is the ability of an input controller to detect multiple fingers simultaneously. Multitouch input devices are just starting to be seen in the real world, rather than just in the movies (the most famous being “Minority Report”). MAKE magazine has even declared them the The Future of Interfaces.

For Maker Faire 2007, I propose to demonstrate a variety of graphical, musical, video, and browser-based applications that I’ve developed that show some of the unique capabilities of use of MultiTouch controllers. Below is a picture of the custom controller I’ve built containing 3 Fingerworks iGesture pads (each capable of detecting multiple fingers simultaneously with excellent resolution and responsiveness), and a JLCooper CS32 with lots of sliders and buttons for additional control.

Wow, there’s so much stuff still to come from our Maker Faire 2007 coverage. It’s like a massive virus or a bomb that hasn’t released itself yet…

With all the cool bikes we’ve covered in the past, this is probably the coolest bike, well at least the most technological “lookin’”. I am not exactly sure where this bike is from, I think we’ve covered it before but… it’s cool~

There’s always large-scale molding DIY if you ever want to build one yourself.

It’s been a blast yet we’ve been able to get barely 5 hours sleep. But we will get all this cool stuff posted.

Mayhem & Chaos brings you some really cool sit and pedal POV (Persistence of Vision) using recycled bicycle parts.

I guess Mayhem took it to Burning Man every year. Cool… I gotta go one of these days.
