Design - Innovative Keg Stand lets your Keg blend to the environment!

This innovative keg stand does a lot more than simply hold kegs.  The cool keg stand is also transportable with its attached wheels and also can hold your precious fresh keg with its awesome keg encasing which reminds me of a road hazard bump placed vertically reversed.

Digital Plant tells you their feelings!

Digital Plant tells you their feelings!

Isn’t this the coolest concept digital plant you’ve seen? What if you had some ganza in there? That face would always look “high” and tell you, “oh no, don’t smoke me!”

Growing plants would be a lot easier if plants could express what it is they need from you. Fret not because that’s what the Pet Plant by Junyi Heo does. The very sleek looking pot measures soil conditions, temperature, humidity, and water - calculates those variables based on the need of said plant, and expresses its condition via a series of pictograms on an LCD display.

The Moon Cabinet

Posted in Consumer, Design, Earth, Eco-friendly, Furniture, Gadgets, Household by max on the May 28th, 2008 at 9:02 am

The Moon Cabinet

Cool, “The Full Moon” cabinet is painted using a special eco-friendly glow-in-the-dark paint for you get a nice image of the moon in the dark.

Created using ecologically safe paint (ELI ecolightinside), this “Fullmoon” sideboard furniture has the ability to “create special effects” in the dark. I assume that means it glows in the dark or maybe it shoots laser beams. The “Fullmoon” will be on-view at the SOHO temporary gallery in Milan during the “dEMOsign” exhibition April 18-20, 2008.

As a owner of a Suzuki GSX-R600 which does 0 to 60 in about 3.4 seconds (ahem…), I love this new Suzuki!!!

Well, I don’t think Bikes have to be more eco-friendly than they are right now at 50MPG (ahem….), but it’s a good thing I guess if your motorcycle can run on hydrogen fuel cells too.

The good folks at Suzuki are serious about going green and have been spotted testing their latest concept, the Suzuki Crosscage Hydrogen Fuel Cell Motorcycle. With no gears, no noise, no clutch and no emissions, this hydrogen fuel cell / electric hybrid two-wheeler just might be the future of motorcycles and is closer to reality than you might think. Seriously, there is a guy riding one in these pictures, you won’t hear it coming, but it is.

Oil Roomba!

Wow, check out this Oil Roomba that will clean up any oil spills. Get bunch of these together and they look like ants!

There are some new bots called OSP on the drawing board. Using advanced robotics, these guys autonomously work together to contain an oil spill by surrounding it with an inflatable barrier. Once contained, clean-up crews can jump in and suck the oil out.

Designer Ji-hoon Kim, must have come up with this idea after cleaning his house with bunch of Roombas…
