Why BlogRush will die and SiteHoppin will exponentially grow!

Remember I did a review of Blogrush and Entrecard right before Entrecard started taking off?
Well, here’s why BlogRush will die and SiteHoppin will exponentially grow! (Sorry John, we are just using your site as comparison, no pun intended)
1. SiteHoppin is like a dog. Well, here’s how I got that analogy. I don’t own a dog but I do love dogs and my parents have dogs. During the last few days I was taking care of Za, my girlfriend’s brother’s dog, I have come to realize that SiteHoppin is like a dog who takes a leak here and there so other dogs can find it and mark their territory.
What the heck does that have to do with exponentially growing? Well, dogs like to mark their territories everywhere they go. They will only “mark” their spots in certain location they sense the “smell”. I don’t know how they do it. But it’s how dogs interact or communicate with each other. Basically, every time you take a leak, you are leaving a trace for the other dogs.
Well, SiteHoppin is no different. Every time you visit a site on SiteHoppin, you are marking your territory on someone’s site. Those site owners find out through site stats and get to know SiteHoppin and start using it to promote their sites. You can see some of the stats here to see what I mean here on the new SiteHoppin blog.
So, what the heck is the point of the story? Nothing. We are thanking everyone who has signed up for SiteHoppin’ and we promise the first-comers will get massive traffic in return.
As you can see in the above graph, we should be able to eclipse BlogRush very soon if our traffic keeps rising. In just 7 days since our public beta launch, we have gained at least 50% as much as traffic as Blogrush. (not that that’s a real accomplishment…) Join the new phenomenon, go try out SiteHoppin as it’s being developed LIVE! (It’s like watching a cooking show on TV, kinda like IronChef where you get to “see” the process)
Well, we will stop selling our new wiki technology here and start blogging more about other CES 2008 stuff.
Here’s the fun part:

Check out the pageviews of SiteHoppin vs. Zedomax.com. SiteHoppin gets almost 3 times more pageviews! I guess that’s probably from all the people that are SiteHoppin’… :p
Browse new sites on your iPhone with SiteHoppin.com!

Today, I had the pleasure of driving to my sister’s business, Keetsa.com, an eco-friendly Mattress store. Anyways, since I don’t have an iPhone right now, I borrowed hers to see if you can browse new sites using SiteHoppin.com.
The result? Fantastic! SiteHoppin works perfectly with iPhone. You can now find new sites without typing or clicking much on your iPhone while you are in the bus, bart, airplane, or whereever!
Think about how much time you’d save if you didn’t have to type “zedomax” on Google to find this site. You’d be checking out new interesting sites in a flash!
How SiteHoppin’ will virally increase Entrecard’s traffic and users’ blogs
There’s been a lot of questions regarding our new site, SiteHoppin’, especially from some Entrecard users, so I will show you briefly how it will virally increase Entrecard’s traffic.
Instead of typing URL or using a bookmarking system like Del.icio.us, Entrecard users will start using SiteHoppin’ to tag their favorite sites and go “site hoppin’” daily.
How will increase traffic for your blog? Well, simply, if you submit your blog to SiteHoppin with the tag, “Entrecard”, all Entrecard users who “site hop” will bring you 1 hit per visit. (If every Entrecard user “site hopped” everyday, every Entrecard user’s blog would get that many hits!)
The greatest part is that it doesn’t end there. Since SiteHoppin’ also has “random” hopping feature for non-bloggers or people who want to simply hop new sites, your blog will randomly show up at various different times.
As user base grows on SiteHoppin’, Entrecard blogs who are in the system will automatically benefit from users randomly “hopping” onto their blogs.
The more Entrecard blogs that exist on SiteHoppin’, the more Entrecard will be advertised and the more traffic it will bring to Entrecard blogs.
This effect will probably go virally crazy and we just hope Entrecard blog don’t take over the whole SiteHoppin’.
When we first started making this, we weren’t thinking of Entrecard but it just hit me the other day that you could browse much faster on Entrecard too.
If all the above explanation is too hard to understand then just imagine this:
1. Entrecard users start site hoppin’ on SiteHoppin.com
2. Other site hoppers who are bloggers find out about Entrecard and Entrecard blogs.
3. They sign up for Entrecard and start site hoppin’ their favorite tags. (Right now, we only have “Entrecard” as tags but you are free to make your own tag lists such as “Entrecard-Zedomax” so you only hop the sites you want to, not necessarily all the Entrecard blogs…)
Everytime a person “site hops”, the referring site is opened in an “iframe”. This gives you one hit to your blog or any other website.
If your site gets enough beers on the wall, you will show up at the top of the Most Popular site list on SiteHoppin’, further bringing you extra hits.
Now, every time a user “site hops”, some website in the SiteHoppin’ database is getting a free hit. Some people refer this as “scraping” but I think not.
SiteHoppin’ is a social networking site that brings you extra traffic just like Digg, StumbleUpon, Reddit, or whatever. The only difference is that you get a hit along with a hit to SiteHoppin’.
In other words, it’s a “browser” within your browser. Great thing is that you don’t have to install any Browser extensions like StumbleUpon.com. You can be anywhere in the world, even on your iPhone, and you only have to remember one site, SiteHoppin.com. It’s simply a great way to browse the internet and bring traffic to your sites.
BTW, I kinda did take the “g” off Hopping, following Bloggin-Ads.com’s cool name. Yes, Mike, I did kinda take it from your name…LOL…I will have to add that info to the About page so you get extra hits if this site blows up.
Drunken Update and Drunken Development

As I am running out of money to live and keep up websites, it’s seems like getting drunk everyday helps me forget all that.
On top of all that, I am so drunk off my mind while trying to develop our new site, SiteHoppin.com.
The reason? Well, you need to be able to be in the same mind frame as someone who’d be using the site and the site is all about having a beer in your hand while you go “site hoppin’”. So the developer needs to be highly drunk before trying to put content, which means I gotta get drunk out of my mind before I start editing any PHP code for the site.
This does remind me of the “drunken style” Kong Fu, which focuses on the fact that you confuse your enemy through your drunkenness…
On the bright side, SiteHoppin is the first site in the world ever to convert a MediaWiki into a social networking site. (by a professional drunk who can gulp down 3 Soju bottles in any day…)
Anyways, this is an honest drunken update and development update while gulping down a nice bottle of Soju. If you don’t know what Soju is, you should take a look at my Soju tree. Well, my Soju tree has grown a lot bigger now, I will post an update soon about it.
We did get the new “Tag Browing” function working but too lazy to update the site as it’s still the 3rd of January. We should have it up by tomorrow so you can “tag browse” blogs that use EntreCard and save time.
Thanks to Mike from Bloggin-Ads for helping us send a buzz out on the internet. His blog is growing very quickly and already has 377 RSS readers in just couple months!
Thanks everyone, and remember to “hop some sites” if you have a beer in your hand or want to just mess around…
Okay, go check out SiteHoppin.com today and make sure to sign up for an account and upload your hideous Jpeg photo so everyone can see it.
Our new site SiteHoppin’ and KnolProject.Net
You’ve been wondering why there were so few posts on Zedomax.com over the last 3 weeks, we have been working around the clock, through Christmas Eve and New Years to bring you brand new sites.
While they are in heavy development, you can check out our “live” progresses.
You are welcome to register for a username and play around with it until we get our new “tag browsing” function implemented and bunch of other stuff being added on.
You can check our .Net post for more details.
If you want to invest in the new SiteHoppin.com, shoot us an e-mail at zedomax [at] gmail.com. We are looking for some VC funding for this new big project. Basically, you will get pre-paid advertising for your investment. Although this idea is not fully cemented yet, you will be added to our priority list of investors to be alerted when the opportunity knocks.
On another bright 2008 New Years 4:30AM note, we are developing the domain name we bought, KnolProject.Net, to build a community of open source developers dedicated to making new “paid wiki” or “social networking wiki” sites using MediaWiki. Google’s new Knol Project is a great site but we will show you how to make something similar from scratch using MediaWiki and your imaginations and keyboard.
Looking for Free Web Traffic? Get ready for Web 2.5!
Looking for free web traffic? Here’s an opportunities ONLY for Zedomax readers.
You can become a beta tester for our newest site, XXX.com. (XXX is classified that’s why it’s XXX)
Basically, it’s a new Web2.5 social networking site that let’s you bookmark, share, and find new sites. Remember, we said, “Web 2.5“.
That’s right folks. This thing is so big we are gonna make it bigger than Google or Yahoo.
You can laugh at us but we ARE giving out free accounts to beta-testers who want to simply promote their website.
If interested, e-mail zedomax [at] gmail.com with sites you have in mind promoting.
Remember, only “very interesting and funny” sites are invited so don’t even apply if you don’t fall into that category. BTW, Zedomax.com would be considered “very interesting and funny”… lol…
Basically, we’ve took Web 2.0 to another level here folks… We’ve invented a new way of surfing web sites…(that’s right, surfing!) It’s so easy that you don’t even need a keyboard to surf the web using this new site.
Our exclusive beta testing team will only consist of couple people so you better hurry to get your sites in. (Still don’t know what we are talking about? Of course not, that’s why it’s XXX classified… a lot more FUN than Google’s new knowledge project, the knol’s project. BTW, we grabbed knolproject.net last week, we are going to try to sell it back to google for $100,000 USD! Well, we are going to try to see if we can googlebomb google for knolproject … well…. nevermind … we got this new site that will be BIGGER than google…)
Workin’ on a new site…
As always, I am working on new sites. Anyways, you guys will love this one… COMING SOON!
Back to work…enough rambling…lol…
In case you were wondering why I have been absent, I am working on a HUGE project that will hopefully pay itself off and I can sell it to Yahoo or Google. LOL…

Special Thanks shotout to Tamar Weinberg for featuring it as a Weekend Project. You made my weekend!
Google’s Knol Project Update - Lots of BUZZ on the Internet
Wow, it seems like search results for “Knol Project” is multiplying at the rate of every hour! It’s amazing how no one has really even tried this new Knol Project yet, there’s so much buzz going around the internet. We think Knol Project will be basically Google’s new knowledge database that will add nicely to their portfolio of search knowledge database.
Although we predict that Knol Project will never be close to Wikipeidia’s mass collaboration of information, Google’s new Knul Project could prove to be pivotal in providing useful information from authoratative sources such as real doctors and real professionals who practice their content, instead of having random people contributing to articles like Wikipedia.
We predict that their search results will still honor Wikipedia’s authority as long as Knol’s content isn’t any better. But if Knol proves otherwise, Wikipedia could be on its way to slow and tortourous death. (We doubt that though…)
In our efforts to keep up with Google’s latest Wiki project, we’ve got all the great news about the Knol Project in one post here:
