USBeeee Memory Stick!

Check out this USBeeee… weeeeee! I wonder if it will make it to production…
Serbian designer Damjan Stankovic, believes that flexibility in design can solve this problem. His “USBee” Flash Memory Drive won the first prize at the MS Industrial USB Competition held by the Serbian Design Community forum DizajnZona™. Ergonomically designed to bend at life’s will in any direction, this USB flash drive features a vented housing for cooling(I did not realize these needed cooling), and a detachable protective cap that snaps onto the back end of the device when not in use. No word yet if this will go into production, so all claims of memory capacity are a moot point.
Modu the small one
Could this be the smallest mobile phone in the world today, and this one come the man who first thought up the idea behind the USB flash drive.

These phones come with interchangeable covers which have all other devices such as music player, gaming and messaging device, which is a really cool idea because not everyone wants all of the features on the phones of today.
Priced at around $280

Keep your data safe
By using this padlock style USB flash drive it is clear that the data stored on it is going to be safe, as there are ten digits, which form up a push button security key.
This works like any other combination lock, you need to have the number in order to gain access to the lid. And with ten digits that is quite few different numbers.

Features:
Auto Locking – self-locking after removal from computer
Customizable PIN – Set your own PIN and makes it easy to remember
Easy to Use – Direct keypad access and indicator lights make locking/unlocking simple
Plug and Play – Hardware based security works without installing or running software
Platform independent – Works on Windows, MAC and Linux platforms without the use of software

The teddy bear USB drive
Get this USB flash drive and scare the kids. With the top on the device looks just like a little cuddly teddy bear, but in order to place it into the USB port, you will have to pull the poor little teddy’s head off and shove his body into the computer, where it looks like he is caught up in the works.

There no details on pricing of memory size yet.

The cassette tape is back
But before you go out and get the old cassette player out this is just a great idea for some a more modern way of storing files.

Inside the cassette tape is a great little USB flash drive, which can be used with any laptop or PC. There was a time when the shelves were full of these tapes and boxes. That of course was before the introduction of the CD.
Now they had to find a use for all of the empty cassette boxes and this is it. The tape itself and the box has the usual blank indexes, so they can be filled in by hand with what you have stored on it yourself.

The flash drive file
Flash drives come in all shapes and sizes these days, but the main thing that they are used for is the storage of files and data.

So it is only fitting that a USB flash drive should be in the shape of a file, so now you can store your files in a file shaped flash drive.
Unfortunately there was no information on memory size, availably or even price.

Twisted metal flash drive
It makes a change to find a flash drive that is not a piece of food, an old revamped toy or advert for a film, so it is refreshing to find someone who feels that by adding a piece of modern art onto a flash drive, or is it?

This is a simple design placed onto a 1 GB USB flash drive and that is it really, apart from the actual USB unit the metal that surrounds it, is just that, and will it get caught up in clothing and papers? Yes I think it will, so it looks great, but practically it not that usable.

Cost for the 1 GB memory flash drive is around $45.
