Last night, I had the pleasure of watching the basketball game in years, perhaps during the years of Michael Jordan when he used to pull off stuff like this. LeBron James from the Cleveland Cavaliers, my favorite NBA player right now, hits the 3-pointer at the buzzer with ZERO seconds left in the game.  See the ball and the timer at “0.0″? Up to that point, the Cavs were beh ...

Cool rainbow spinning wheel! It did not take long until I found the problem, the flexible wire that is making an electrical contact on the outer aluminum tape ring is causing way to much friction and it is preventing the motor from spinning! So I had done some adjustments on the flexible wire and it is now causing less friction and the motor can now spin, but one set of LED’s are ...

Boiling eggs appears to have become a lost art form, which is probably why there are devices coming out that can help everyone achieve the perfect boiled eggs for breakfast and in the meantime you do not have to explain your bad cooking skills to your guests or family. It works on the basis that the egg shaped timer is placed in the same saucepan as the eggs and water, as the water temp ...

Well here’s a cool little cat detection and repellent device using a sprinkler controller and some timer delay circuits.  I think there’s a lot of timer delay circuits, especially the 555 being used for a lot of these DIYs, but I think it would be easier to do with BASIC controllers… OR you can probably just buy a ultrasonic rodent repellent for under 40 bucks. But th ...
