Greenpeace conducts a survey on gadgets
The idea behind this is, well it looks like, they are trying to produce a definitive guide to all gadgets and electronics, and this will take in big brands and small ones too.

What companies need to do is fill out the green peace from, then explain which products they make and most importantly, the what is green, easy recycle or just more energy efficient, whatever the feature, then Greenpeace wants to know so that they can get them in the guide.

The push pin night light
The lamp that looks like a mega large pin in a piece of cork but is really a lamp. This is a great piece of design and innovation. Comes in Lime, Marine Blue, Mandarin and Matt Clear.
What is really good is the base is actually made from cork and can be used for pining messages to by using the real pins to fix your message to the base; no doubt some lamps will be fuller than others.
This is not really practical for children’s rooms, as the light is activated by pushing the pin into the base.

Wal-Mart and Dell Do It
Who would have though that we would ever see this, but they have gone ahead and made a lot of people very happy, for now they can go down to their local Wal-Mart and touch a Dell machine before having to pay for it.

The adverts show just the beginning of what has got to be something big.

So what do they have?
The Dell Dimension E521, dual-core Athlon, 1GB RAM, 320GB hard drive, Vista Home Premium, and a 19-inch monitor for $698!

As this is just beginning we should be seeing some special deals coming into the stores, hopefully we may even get to see the rumored $500 model in due course.
