These creatures have a calming effect on humans, in fact a bit too but of a calming effect, plus they do tend to reproduce at a staggering rate. The Star Trek webcam

Anyone would think that there was a new “Star Trek” film coming out soon. That charts the beginnings of the careers of the Kirk, Spock, Scotty and the rest of the crew. Well there is that one coming out by someone called JJ Abrams.

So that must be way there are so many Star Trek items coming out at the moment, some are not so bad, but then there are others that look as if they have come directly from the sixties, of course you can make your mind up which ones are dated. But this web cam falls somewhere in between, it looks cool enough as a webcam, but they could have done with paying more attention to detail, especially when it comes to the com badge!

There have been murals and wallpapers over the years that depict all manner of sci-fi and fictional landscapes, but nothing can compare to this Hi-Res wallpaper. The image is so realistic that if you happened to wake up in the middle of the night, you could be forgiven for thinking that you were actually on the bridge on of the USS Enterprise.

The mural/wallpaper comes in three different styles all featuring the Star Trek theme, they measure ten feet wide and are six feet high. It has been printed onto a material called Surestrip which is already pre pasted that makes for easier handling when hanging on the wall. This is a sure fire winner with fans of the original sixties version of the show, but would the modern day fan go for Kirk & Co, maybe not.

The fact is that we are all going to die, how we die not many have the knowledge of that, but how we go is just one of the things that we can demand as a final send off. Some people are keen on an eco friendly funeral whereas other people are interested in other themed funerals.

However, for Star Trek fans, there is only one to go, and that is with the Photon Torpedo casket, it comes fully loaded with star fleet logos etc, and for those who are wanting to be cremated then there is the star fleet urn, which is just as good but a lot smaller.

At last, the time has come to get the communicator out and get in touch with the Starship Enterprise. Unfortunately, you are going to need to get this connected through VoIP or the Skype network through a computer in order to talk to anyone.

This is great replica version of the communicator as used by Captain Kirk in the original series of Star Trek. This version is compatible with Windows XP, Vista and others, so there is no excuse for not using this for calls. This just has to be a big hit this year with all Star Trek fans.

Lol, special silica-gel DVD (that lasts up to years) has been left on mars for future Martians to pick it up and load it onto their PCs… Who’s working at NASA? Where is my tax money going to? Some dumb folks?

Okay, that was kinda pointless to assume an alien could understand DVDs.

The disc – being described as the first interplanetary library – is made of a special silica glass designed to last hundred, if not thousands, of years into the future.

It also holds a collection of Mars-themed artwork, including a poster from a 1936 Flash Gordon film Mars Attacks the World and Orson Welles’s 1938 radio broadcast of War of the Worlds. Patrick Stewart as Star Trek’s Captain Picard also makes an appearance on the DVD.

The idea is to give future Martians a snapshot of how they were viewed on Earth – though, considering some of the content, it may not be met with the most favourable reception.
