Hi All,

I was over at AdTech 2008 today in Moscone Center, San Francisco. Guess who I ran into? Well, it was kinda planned but at the last minute, I figured to get some advice from one of the world’s top blogger, John Chow, and share some of his secrets with you.

Since he was featured on Entrepreneur magazine couple months ago and he is making $30K+ per month from his blog, I figured I couldn’t lose by asking him couple questions. And of course, share all that great knowledge with you, my readers!

I mean I have read his blog and all, but I think I learned a lot more from asking the questions I had in mind than simply reading his blog. I had a lot of clutter that was kept in my mind cleared away, thanks John!

From what I’ve heard from him today, I think I can start turning this blog into a cash-cow from what is now $1000/month to hopefully around $10K/month by next year. (Hey, Zedomax.com is getting 4000-5000 uniques per day too, maybe it’s time I focused more on RSS instead of simply traffic.)

(If you haven’t subscribed to Zedomax.com via e-mail, do it now!)

CES 2008 - Bill Gates Interview

Interview with Bill Gates

Check out the interview with Bill Gates on SiteHoppin. Interesting.

In the first segment of our Bill Gates CES 2008 interview, we asked the difference between Apple’s approach and Microsoft’s approach when it comes to product releases. Apple steers clear of products that might be iffy in their first iteration—portable music rentals; DVR—whereas Microsoft rolls out stuff that may not be quite ready. Bill’s response is illuminating, direct and humble. [

Live coverage from Sony’s CES press conference at Engadget

Live coverage from Sony’s CES press conference at Engadget

The greatest part about NOT going to CES this year? I get to sit on my butt and read all these tech blog write about them. Well, it’s good that I am acting sorta as a “human filter” to filter out all the crappy stuff and post the best on Zedomax.

Anyways, you can get a really good overview of Sony’s CES press conference over at Engadget. I think this is one of the longest Engadget posts I’ve seen in awhile.

Here’s an excerpt from the blog post:

4:53PM - Talking about the exit from microprojection, and focusing on flat-panel. “According to NPD, Sony was the leader in market leader in dollars and units — even with the highest average selling price.” Wait, is this guy calling his customers suckers? Two new models: 40 and 46-inch, as well as the 32 and 37-inch 1080p models with DMex. “Ten of these new sets will be full HD 1080p — which as you’ll remember Sony created and popularized years ago.” No, Sony, no. You didn’t “invent” 1080p HDTV. Nice try.

I agree, Sony does suck at trying to sell itself…

Wow, I definitely wanted to go check out CES so I can gamble on the nights but too bad I have some personal emergencies so I can’t go. Well, at least I can always go to the folks at Gizmodo and check out what they have been checking out at the show. My favorite currently is the Wowwee Bladestar, what’s yours? (Well, my favorite will probably change in the next couple hours as I check out more cool sites on SiteHoppin.
