Yey, we finally have LED bulbs from Pharox that greatly increases the efficiency of light bulbs while lasting 50 times longer.  I have to say these LEDs are very handy for projects too while they don’t really product enough heat to hurt you even when you touch them.  Cool stuff. The Pharox LED bulb produces a warm glow equivalent to that of a 40Watt incandescent bulb, but uses o ...

Usually, the term “Wild Wild West” refers to the western region of United States, most likely pointing at the old California gold-rush spots, but in this case, a UK resident has created a “Wild Wild West” Hummer that utilizes wooden wheel from the “Wild Wild West” horse carriages. Of course, you’d probably don’t want to go over 40MPH on th ...

Microsoft and Cray launch the CX1 supercomputer for about $25K each.  The CX1 supercomputer can hold upto 16 Intel Xeon CPUs, 4 Terabytes of storage, and 64 gigs of memory. The supercomputer will run Windows HPC Server 2008, the only downfall of it. I would rather see free Linux system running on the servers, that would probably bring down the cost of software and price down to around ...

Microsoft Ultimate Office is supposedly being sold for $59.95 for a limited time only. But if you do need MS Office, you can get one for $59.95. REDMOND, Was ...

I do prefer wooden USBs over plastic ones simply due to the fact that they are more shock-absorbent upon dropping them from high floors. This one is from Japan and does indeed look pretty cool. I like this Wooden Thumb Drive. Its casing is made of cedar wood and provides 1GB of storage capacity. The Wooden Thumb Drive retails for approx. $62 in Japan. via techfresh, Product Page, Produc ...

Here’s the most comfortable looking flip flops branded as Krispy Kreme.  I have no idea why anyone would make these for the donut conglomerate but it sure looks comfortable and I might have to get one to test out against my current bamboo flip flops. It’s probably a PR stunt by Krispy Kreme but I do like the fact that you can grow grass on your flip flops while having to en ...
