Biological Containment Art - Junior’s Returns2

Check out this cool biological containment art from Philip Ross. It’s a hydroponic garden which allow just enough light using LEDs for the plants to survive but do not grow bigger. Very interesting. This might be good for saving our planet by controlling light plants receive and thus use less energy if we are ever in a closed environment due to wars and what not. (not that i’d want that happen… impeach Bush!!!)

New type of camera tripod

Posted in photography by david on the May 15th, 2007 at 3:48 am

Tripods for cameras are great unfortunately even though they three legs, hence the tri, they can sometimes be a bit unstable and either topple over or in some cases it may just move slightly because of the uneven surface that it is placed on.

tripod

But never fear there is always help at hand, and this time it comes in the form of the All Terrain Tripod from red envelope, this unique design means that the legs of the tripod can be twisted around the anything suitable to give you’re camera the right height and a secure footing, no more watching your expensive camera falling to the ground as it takes photos of you running towards it.

Prices for the stand start at around $25 rising to $45 depending on the size.

    Funny Escalator

    Funny Escalator 2

    Funny Escalator 3

After work, instead of taking the usual elevator, stairs, or escalator, you can simply slide down the Funny Escalator and save some time too. If we ever get a chance to build our own building, this would definitely be one of the features. But you’d probably need to pay a lot of money for insuring it.

DIY PHOTOGRAPHY - Collapsible Light Tent

    Collapsible Light Tent

Wow, we’ve seen a lot of light boxes and tents for photography floating on the internet before but here’s a “collapsible” light tent that might actually be useful and easy to store simultaneously.

Ever wanted to take pictures of small items around your house and make them look like it was done at a studio? It’s possible with some items around your home and a trip to your local craft store. It’s going to cost you around $15 but its money well spent. If you were to order a similar setup from a photography store, your looking to spend near a $100.

    Snipshot

Here’s a cool little tool you can use to edit pictures online. It works flawlessly with Flickr hopefully… (well it says…)

But I’ve always thought we need somethin’ like this. Using a Photoshop is an expensive option for most people and takes way too long to load.
