This is a nice little twist in the speaker; they are light and come in flat pack form which is great for sending to people.

These are made from a thick paper which can then be folded into the cube shape that we relate to as a speaker box.

I doubt if the quality of sound is that brilliant, but it is a great idea though.

I like steam punk stuff, but this is not one of the better ones, but the good thing about it, is the fact that the mp3 unit was actually found on the ground outside a bus station, which means if the designer had not recycled it into this it would have then been added to the land fill.

It is hard to describe something like what Khan wore on his wrist in the second Star Trek movie, but for just an mp3 player isn’t this going a little over the top or maybe not, most of the parts have been recycled too so at least they did not even end in the trash.
