Watch Videos on the iPhone while Driving!(reflected off the dashboard of course)

Here’s a great idea for watching movies while driving using the iPhone.  Of course, if you get in an accident while doing so, don’t blame me.  I only told you that you “could”, but not that you “should” do that.

Now, it might be a good idea to use GoogleMaps on that dashboard if you don’t want to watch movies but drive efficiently to your destination.

Why don’t I feel better because he usually only uses his headset in one ear “so that I can hear the traffic and whatnot?”

    iPhone Nike+ Interface Leaked!

    iPhone Nike+ Interface Leaked!

Here’s some leaked pics of what the Nike+ would look like working with the iPhone.  You do have to admit iPhone is useless for fast internet browsing on the go but it may proved to be a very good tool for running around like crazy and graphing out how you ran.

the biggest improvement over the old Nike system may be Google Maps support:

We don’t know just how robust the Nike+ maps support will be, but mapping routes directly on the iPhone could make for more organized training sessions. If only we had the coordination to use the iPhone’s touch interface while running.

Solar Powered Necktie is Poorly Designed for Geeks-Only

Posted in Consumer, Cool, Design, Earth, Educational, Entertainment, Funny, Gadgets, Solar by max on the August 19th, 2008 at 3:58 pm

Solar Powered Necktie is Poorly Designed for Geeks-Only

In todays’ world, a company should make things that are useful with a usable design.  In the case with this Solar Powered Necktie, we feel it’s been very poorly designed so no one would buy one.

Regardless, we do like the idea that you can charge your iPhone while walking down the street looking like an idiot.

Who knows, maybe no one will notice it though.

Now a group of researchers at Iowa State University have created a necktie using newly developed solar fabrics. The neat thing, is that the tiny solar panels are arranged in a grid that looks kind of like what you might see on a tie anyway. There’s even a pocket sewn into the back where you can stash the device you’re charging.

iPhone 3G Slow in Real Life - I Told You So!

iPhone 3G Slow in Real Life - I Told You So!

Click Here to View in Full Screen Mode

I hate to be the one telling you this, especially if you own an iPhone 3G already, but it’s SLOW!

No matter how fast AT&T’s 3G network becomes, that will not change how fast the iPhone 3G runs as the iPhone 3G was never intended to run that fast.

Apple, however, did an amazing job of photoshopping their advertising to “fool” consumers.

But don’t forget the fact that the iPhone does still come out as the winner for the best mobile browser with YouTube support.  That’s one thing that might persuade consumers to buy but definitely not speed or the slow AT&T 3G network.

It’s plainly obvious all commercials exaggerate the greatness of their devices. And a YouTube user has produced a rather amusing (and well done, I must say) video to demonstrate that Apple’s iPhone 3G commercial is no exception.

    Blackberry Earrings!

    Blackberry Earrings!

Yes, now you can express your cellphone desires with the Blackberry earrings.  Blackberry (Crackberry) is still better than iPhone for business and typing.

BlackBerry (or as it’s commonly known, crackberry) addiction is actually getting to be somewhat passé, what with the iPhone mania. Still, look at every train, plane, and automobile, and you can generally find someone buried in their blackberry, furiously typing on those tiny keys and scrolling through their email.

    iPhone 3G Too Slow!

Posted in A+Featured Gadgets, Consumer, Cool, Entertainment, Gadgets, cell phones, iPhone, iPhone 3G by max on the August 12th, 2008 at 1:24 pm

    iPhone 3G Too Slow!

As predicted, the iPhone 3G remains to be still too slow most internet applications.  Perhaps consumers are remedying their poor iPhone 3G insecurities with Wi-Fi access.

That’s not good enough for me to buy an iPhone yet.  I plan to wait couple more years when they have iPhones available on CDMA network.  (or WiMAX when it’s available)

For those poor fellas who have bought the hype and the iPhone 3G, you can now send a letter to Steve Jobs telling him how you have been “HAD” by Apple.

Perhaps, it’s the chip or it’s the network.  Whatever it is, Apple has really stole a lot of money from consumers.

AT&T has stated that problems are not on their end in the US, and European countries also stated that they’ve seen slowness with the iPhone on their network where every other phone was fine. Forums everywhere have been complaining about lousy reception compared to other phones in their network—even in Japan—which secures that it’s a hardware issue. Our guess is that Apple will somewhere down the line either run an update to the protocol stack via an upgrade, or quietly swap out the chipset for a more mature one that may or may not be made by Infineon.

Here’s the video review of the $999.99 I Am Rich application for iPhone 3G.  Apparently, about 10 people have bought this bogus Apple app and it’s no longer available because it does suck so much.  (Doesn’t really qualify as a real app really)
