The New Five Dollar Wiki! - Do you have five on it?

Here’s the latest creation from Zedomax.Net, The Five Dollar Wiki! (Well, it’s really a idea that’s developed on a nice idea.)
Basically, you get to own a page on the wiki for life(or at least 15 years). If the site does well in the future then your page gets boosted by Google rankings and get lots of traffic. That’s the idea but we are still workin’ on some tweeks…
If you like the logo, please say so~
(I copied it off Business 2.0 Magazine buttons…)
Also do check out my $100 investment at the MillionDollarWiki for keyword, “hacks“. I don’t know why I bought it but I think maybe it’s because I just got a $100 rebate from Sprint.
Get your major keywords before they run out and help support the growth of Zedomax.com!
Own a page and enjoy the benefits:
* Share traffic generated by the entire community, and by our advertising dollars.
* Secure all the long-term SEO benefits of a keyword on an increasingly popular and well-indexed site.
* Raise awareness of your website, product, or service.
* Make a unique investment for 33 cents per year:$5 divided by 15 years min. site life = $0.33 per year.
* Join a resourceful community of motivated entrepreneurs.
* Receive storage space on our server for your page’s content.
* Earn a profit from owning a page by selling products, services, or advertisements
* Re-sell your page later down the road
* Great customer support
P.S. I just quit my job and this was the only thing I could think of using my last five dollars. Hopefully, it will take off. (unlike the other sites we’ve made before…)
iPhone update is just another brick in the wall
![]()
Here’s some news you should consider before updating your iPhone. Apparently, you can end up with a bricked iPhone, meaning your iPhone will be useless.
I don’t know if this voids the warranty or whatnot but be careful before updating your iPhone.
A software update has, as promised, made hacked iPhones useless — “bricked” them, in the modern parlance. Worse yet, the new software has bricked some unmodified iPhones as well. And people are outraged. These are, of course, by and large the same saps who overpaid by $200 to buy their iPhones in June. And you know what? They’re getting what they deserve.
Zedomax.Biz - Social Network for Making Money Online
I don’t know if you’ve noticed the new buttons at the top menu but we have BIZ and NET added. Those stand for Zedomax.BIZ and Zedomax.NET.
Zedomax.NET will consist of archiving all Zedomax Network RSS Feeds and Zedomax.BIZ is a new social network/blog for making money online.
There’s been so much talk about making money lately online, especially at JohnChow.com. We figured it’d be good to add one ourselves.
So, if you want to learn about making money, head over to our new site, Zedomax.Biz and the ZB Blog too.
Again, let me know what you think of the logos this time… hopefully not as bad as Zedomax.Net logo responses…
(Remember, I spent all day making these 3 pics…wow…I wish I could hire a logo designer…)
Oh yeah, by the way, another new site popped up too. It’s a luxury real estate blog for San Francisco. My friend Josh is a realtor and I made one for him…

Remember, you can still win a new UV Halo Vac at HTTP://MAKEPONO.COM. No, it’s “PoNo”, not “PorNo”…
DIY - How to make the ultimate Shoe Rack!

I don’t know about you but everytime I buy a big shoe rack for me and my girlfriend, it breaks down after a month. But here’s a great way to make a shoe rack for any of your walls. I will be moving in 3 days to a new apartment so this is very handy and jit (just in time!) baby!
We bought poplar boards from the trims aisle of Home Depot. We chose boards 1/2 inch thick and 6 inches wide (1/2×6x3) for wide lower shelves and 1/2 inch thick and 3 inches wide (1/2×3x3) narrow top shelves. We cut the wood to size (in our case 22 inches) with the handsaw in the store.
We also bought large and small L-brackets to attach the wood to our walls and appropriate hardware: short screws to attach the brackets to the wood planks (.5 inch), longer screws and plastic drywall anchors to attach the brackets to the walls. I think we used 1.5-inch #6

Here’s a cool video of taking your iPhone apart as soon as you get it. I don’t know if you will have to replace the screen anytime soon but it’s good to know there’s instructions out there already.

Google going Web2.0
If you have noticed today, Google has changed its headline bar graphics to be more Web 2.0.
Here’s now:

and before:

I don’t know if this is temporary but looks cool, although I do like the old light ocean blue headline too.
Mini Cooper Billboard in San Francisco

You can see this Mini Cooper Billboard in San Francisco on your way towards Bay Bridge. I guess this is actually RFID enabled which is kinda cool. Yes, it’s a very effective way of advertising as I do read it about 75% of the time that I pass by this spot looking for changes in what the Mini Cooper is saying… (mostly kinda stupid… one time it was saying something like “Be small and Go faster” or something) But it is indeed very creative. I don’t know if it actually can identify Mini drivers but I will try to see if the sign changes next time I see a Mini in front of me… (and take a video of course!)
The boards, which usually carry typical advertising, are programmed to identify approaching Mini drivers through a coded signal from a radio chip embedded in their key fob. The messages are personal, based on questionnaires that owners filled out: “Mary, moving at the speed of justice,” if Mary is a lawyer, or “Mike, the special of the day is speed,” if Mike is a chef.
The next generation skateboard - Flowboard!

Check out these cool flowboards, the next generation of skateboards. I don’t know how well you can balance yourself on one of these new skateboards with 7 WHEELS per truck. But you know that Bush doesn’t want you to take his away from him. Well, we will just have to get one soon and start doing some crazy nollies near downtown SF…
(Maybe they will send us a free sample for a free video review???)
P.S. They even got some snowskates!
Funny Alarm System for you car

I don’t know if this will be a safe option for alarm systems (in case it goes off when you don’t want it to) but it’s hilarious the way the steering wheel flops around…
