Yet another Segway story
Segways one day will rule the world; they will become aware and eventually rule us humans until we fight back. But until them we can do as we please the Segway and here are a couple of examples that just go to show how good they can look.

These are really customised versions of the two wheeled machine, which I think would surprise many people when they see them.

They have been given custom paint jobs, metal trims and some really great chrome wheels. Plus like the one in the second picture this one has a trailer, which would be great for going down to Wal Mart to get the groceries.

A table with no top
This is a great piece of design, not only is it functional, you can eat your dinner off the table which is what you need it for. And space saving, the table will collapse down so that it does not take up any unnecessary space which good for small spaces.

The table is made up from steel tubing, which have been shaped and bent together so that the diner plates, glasses and other items can be placed safely and securely without the bother of cleaning etc, but this may not be that practical for places that have more than one person living in.

Check out your computers performance
This is a great device, especially if you love computers and cars as this will give you the feel of driving a high performance sports car, will being at work, sounds good to me.

Yet it may not be as spectacular as you would initially feel, the device gives you a read out of the computers wattage, temperature and fan speed, but not all at once, there are three buttons that enable you to switch the display to whatever reading you decide to choose.
Of course devices like this can make you paranoid as you may spend more time watch the metre than the screen, it would be great if it could be hacked and then make the dials touch the danger levels!

Toothpaste made from charcoal
Charcoal has some great filtering properties, it comes in water filters to make the water pure, and if you swallow something nasty then sometimes the hospital might give you some of the black stuff to soak it up.

It must be down to these qualities that a Korean toothpaste maker has produced “Charcle” which has all of the qualities of charcoal and unfortunately the colour too. Somehow I cannot quite imagine anyone putting black toothpaste onto their toothbrush and then into your mouth, can you?
Not much on prices or availability yet, but I am sure that there are going to be queues of people just wanting to get a taste of this one.

Homers favourite appliance
If Homer Simpson had a choice on what kitchen appliance he could have, then it would have to be this one.

This is the Dough Nu Matic, yes I know it’s a real 1950’s name, but it is what it is. This is a great piece of machinery the process is simple, throw a load of dough in one end and within sixty seconds the first mini donut will be coming out of the other and it will not stop until all of the dough has been used up, which is about twelve.
This will make a great present for someone who likes donuts!

This device can be used with any computer including laptops; it plugs into the USB port and attaches to the finger with a ring like attachment.
From that position the controls are operated by the thumb, which is probably going to take a bit of getting used to, but once mastered it could be very easy and accurate to use. However there may be a bit of finger wobble if it does not fit to good, i.e. either too big or too small.

No more bunches of keys
The Keyport is a great new device that comes with six blank keys which should be able to be cut into any shape that is required, though I fail to see how this will work, because different makes of lock have different styles of key, but there you go!
![]()
Each key is retractable into the case, which should mean that you will never have to carry around a bunch of keys in your pocket ever again. This is going to be a limited run of around 5000 units, so you had better get in there fast.
The Keyport will come in a choice of colours, pink, sliver, black and blue and is made from stainless steel.
Priced at $295 plus $75 for shipping.

Neat way to hide your cables
If you want to hide your wires and cables, but at the same the same to you may wish it a small bit of New England charm to your place.

If that is so then look no further than this picket fence idea that skirts around the bottom of the wall and at the same time hides all of those nasty looking cables. This may not work in a really modern apartment, but in a nice older type property which has a bit of character, then this could be right for you and your home.
You really need to have base boards or as we call them skirting boards once the picket fence panel is place onto the base board this will create a space which is ideal for all types of cable and wire. This is just an idea at the moment, but it quite possibly could go into production.
