DIY HACK - How to make your own Laptop Stands and let your Laptop last longer!
Check out some of these really cool ways you can make your own Laptop stands. My favorite is as seen above, the wine corks and PVC pipe stand.
Btw, these are really great ways to make your laptop live longer. Without any space between the desk and the laptop, you are practically killing and overheating your laptop. Most people don’t realize this until they overheat their laptops and it’s too late. I actually use a Laptop Chiller from Target, which is basically a Laptop Stand with a built-in USB fan that also drives out hot air through the back.

Loading ...The machine that runs on hot or cold air
This is a neat little machine that you can build up and assemble into your own little engine that when placed on top of a hot cup of coffee, the machine actually begins to work, the hot air rises and pushed the cylinders up, as they are on a sort of crank shaft as one reaches the top the other begins to lift and so forces the other one down, just like an engine.
It can also work with extreme cold as well, the principle being the same.
This would make an amazing gift for a young engineer, priced at $29.
