Want to scare a few people?

Posted in Business, Consumer, Cool, Funny, Gadgets by david on the August 21st, 2007 at 2:00 pm

Then use the sound activated legs, once they hear s sound they beginning to kick around as if there is someone has fallen into the bin or something.

Want to scare a few people?

This is great for playing tricks on people at a party or even better Halloween. But of course the best one would be to place the legs so they were sticking out of the trunk of a car and close it! It has to be worth a laugh just to see everyone’s faces.

It is not recommended to be used on young children and older people.

Halloween DIY - Talking Skull

Here’s an awesome talking skull for halloween!

“I took him out to the garage and disconnected his eye and mouth motors from the main post. I then used 2 - 2″ screws and attached the jaw to the motor of the douglas talking fir(DTS now) I used hot glue and sealed the screws to the mouth to insure no slippage. I made a fitting in the skull with a 90 degree fitting and a 3″ piece of PVC that I attached to the inside of the skull with screws. I can now attached the skull to the crossbones, or remove it, since the fitting on the crossbones is a male, and the one on the skull is female, making storage, setup, and fixing easier!”

mekevorka costume for halloween!

Wow, this is the most geekiest coolest halloween costume I’ve seen so far…

Here’s Donivan’s entry for the MAKE & CRAFT Halloween contest, he writes - “This is my MeKeVoRkA costume I made a few years ago. The chest plate is using an EL sequencer that has been modified to use a larger inverter. Unfortunately the photos don’t show all the strands lit at once. There is a Basic Stamp microcontroller that is used to activiate a laser module and the red eyes in the mask. The mask also has a microphone that goes to a voice changer box and 10W audio amplifier. All the EL wire interferes with the audio, but I think it sounds kinda cool. There’s a video with sound on YouTube, see above for the link. The belt pack contains the audio amplifier + voice changer circuits, the Basic Stamp board, the hacked sequencer, three EL wire drivers and two sets of eight AA rechargable batteries to power it all for about 3 - 4 hours

Here’s a little cute robot right in time for halloween! :)

Oh my! MAKE FLickr photo pool member Oskay made robotic pumpkin Dalek - “We Evil Mad Scientists like Halloween. A lot. You might have already seen our old-school Cylon Jack-o-lantern. Here is another halloween electronics project, hopefully in time for you to make your own: It’s a radio-controlled robotic Dalek that can move around and turn its head. Oh, and did I mention that it’s a pumpkin?”

Zedomax DIY 116- Halloween HOWTO make a talking pumpkin basket!

My girlfriend asked me she wanted a cool halloween basket for her house on halloween, so I made her a halloween backet with some parts that I had lying around.

I figured I could use the voice module that I bought at Radio Shack for like 10 bucks a couple months ago, so here it goes.

We are going to use the PWM (Pulse-Width-Modulator) to make some glowing LEDs, and basic digital outputs to do a simple lip sinking action along with the voice module from Radio Shack.

If you are planning to be a Zedi this Halloween, you are going to love this, Michelle shows you how to make a quality Zedi Light Sabre from scratch…if you put some cool lasers, you might be able to upgrade it.

There are 4 parts, kinda long, but worth it if you are going to make one.
