Cool paintball machine gun! You will have harder time running away next time you are in the paintball field.

Every so I often I Google “paintball minigun“. This time it actually turned up something good. Special effects builder Rick Galinson has been working on a… wait for it… paintball minigun (cache). There is a video of a dry fire run on his site. He’s apparently having trouble with the triggers; I just want to know how he plans on loading it.

Rick has a lot of other cool projects. He’s got a cool two arm minigun prop (cache) (looks like Monev the Gale), A remote controlled submarine (cache), and a really cool telemetry suit (cache) for collecting upper body movement data.

Well since I don’t really go to caves, I don’t really need one but I’ve always been thinking of making a useful night light for putting on the putting green at my local public golf course, Lincoln Park. This would be great as I’d be able to putt and follow my ball with simple twist of my head…

Here’s an awesome DIY HACK on howto put wikipedia on your ipod!

I’ve commented now and again that I’d be willing to pay upwards of $100 for a handheld version of Wikipedia — one that I can sync via WiFi, then take on the bus and read to my heart’s content. Unfortunately, the market doesn’t seem to be responding to my lone cry… so I wrote a Perl script that loads Wikipedia onto my iPod.

Here’s a cool DIY for ya if you have an XBOX 360 via engadget

Recent Xbox 360 updates have allowed the system to spit out resolutions up to 1080p, and with the new HD DVD add-on drive there’s more reason than ever to use a high quality VGA signal instead of the more standard 3-cable component. However there’s a bit of a catch — VGA cables for the 360 cost about $40. According to my calculations, that’s about 2 pizzas and a case of beer less to game with. WE don’t know about you, but we find that a pretty scary proposition — yours buddies that swing over for game night probably do too.
