Google Hack - Get Olympic Scores/Schedule on Google!

Google is providing some live scores and schedules if you type, “xxx olympics”, where “xxx” is the name of your sport.
Search Engine Land noticed that Google now shows a onebox* for certain Olympics-related queries, like tennis olympics or taekwondo olympics. This seems to work in the US and China but not, for instance, using normal google.com results from Germany. In the onebox, you’ll see an icon alongside the upcoming events for the sports category, linked to Beijing2008.cn.

How things change over time
This is a great image which demonstrates the humble 1 GB, the device that looks like a nuclear bomb is a 1 GB hard drive as made by IBM around twenty years ago, and then it was a top item.

While in the mans hand is a SD memory card, which we know can hold anything up to and beyond 20 GB’s, I wonder what technology will be like in a further twenty years?

Blu Ray giving away movies
Is it a forgone conclusion that Blu Ray has already won the battle of the Hi Dev format? Or are they just making sure that they get enough customers using the format that everyone else will have no choice, similar to the battle of the video players in the early 1980’s.

So starting from the beginning of July right up to the end of September, with every purchase of a quality Blu Ray player you would be given the opportunity to choose five great titles from a choice of twenty two titles, you can even get the free films with the purchase of a PS 3 60 GB model.
Here’s a list of all the qualifying models:
Sony BDP-S1
Sony BDP-S300
Sony Playstation 3 (60 GB)
Panasonic DMP-BD10K
Panasonic DMP-BD10KA
Philips BDP9000/37
