iBand for iPhones
I haven’t seen this iPhone app before, but it looks so cool!
Go check out iBand and download these free apps.

Moreover we’re exclusively using a new drumming application by Marc Terry (MooCowMusic) as Alpha testers. And made an own iPhone ad remake, accompanied by iBand music, and much to our delight it gets really close to the original
Looks like this kid is gonna get more than just one Xbox.

You know, sometimes people don’t realize the power of the people on the internet.
Above video is where a kid gets an “X” box for Christmas with winter clothes inside it.
I guess Engadget posted this and Microsoft might be sending him a brand new real XBOX with probably more goodies than he can handle.
Great job guys.
We’ve been flooded with email from well-meaning geeks and even Microsoft; just about everyone wants to help us hook up Jonathan. We totally appreciate the sentiment, but we’ve got this covered. We think we’ve gotten in touch with his family (who let us know he never got an Xbox, and the whole thing really was a prank on the poor kid); once we know for sure we have the right people we’ll post again.
On another plus note, I got $5 from Big Pappa and $10 from Mike to get more Soju over at SiteHoppin.com. (Thanks guys, I will be able to afford brew for couple more days!)
Android Mobile Platform SDK available for download and win $10 million by developing the best app!

Check out the new Android SDK, a developer’s kit so you can build apps for the new Android Platform. (Note: Android is simply an open-source operating system that can run on cellphones, it’s not the cellphone itself.)
Maybe we will try making a SiteHoppin application for the Android soon so you can hop on the new Android phones. (It already works on iPhones)
Google is also giving out $10 million to the best Android app developer. Cool stuff, we might have to start developing for that challenge.
Sergey looks like he just got up, did he take a shower yet?
On the bright side, I think Sergey and Google is doing a great job promoting open-source platforms and linux. (Android is basically Linux hacked to run on mobile phones with lots of Google stuff embedded.)
This will be exciting as Google will really try to take over the world with cellphone software and make my GoogleMaps work better too.
Playstation that tracks your face!
This is kinda cool… except who still uses Playstation? They should have really put this on a PS2 or PS3 at least.
As you can see in the video it works great, and would be brilliant for duck-and-cover maneuvering in first-person shooters. However, as you might guess, support for games has yet to be announced
Life on the rocks
Well it could be if these were really rocks that weigh in at 100 pounds or so, but clearly these are just soft furnishings that look like rocks.

The kids clearly love these as will any pets such as the dog, and on an eco friendly matter these are made from 100% virgin wool and naturally they are filled with hypoallergenic polysilicone filler, which just has to be good, doesn’t it?
Sizes may vary as do the colours.

DIY HACK - HOWTO turn your cellphone into a Taser Camera Gun!

Here’s a funny hack using a cellphone, wires, and a 16pF capacitor.
Take one SonyEricsson K800i, rewire the capacitor (which feeds the camera flash) with a pair of 16uf caps and you have a cell phone capable of dumping those farads into a human body. Just take a photo using the camera’s xenon flash and shoot.
If you can’t read the multimeter in murk of what looks like a typical teenager’s bedroom, it shows 300 volts. Cameron20020, the video’s creator, describes it thus:
“…while it doesn’t make a big spark, it hurts a f*****g lot.”
DIY HACK - HOWTO make your own Condom Sound Activated Party Lights when you ain’t gettin’ any!

Okay, here’s a funny DIY where you can make your own sound activated party lights.
If you want the non-adult version, you can check out our Christmas Voice Activated Party Lights too. (And yes, you have to use a Magnum for this one)
This project shows you how to make a music light out of inflated condoms and LEDs wired up to the sound out of your computer.
Palm emulation for iPhone/iPod touch demonstrated?!?

This is a funny video of people trying to emulate Palm on the iPhone. What a waste of time.
I could, however, understand it if they emulated the iPhone on the Palm.
This is like emulating PS3 on NES. (not that it is possible)
We give props though for hacking it up. Great job on the hacking. :p
iPhone, iPod Touch, now iStick? Should it stick or not?

Here’s an interesting concept design for iStick, which is basically box sized version of the iPhone. I am not sure if I will need this, it looks it’s real fragile with displays on the four sides. Neverthless, koodos to designer Alexei Mikhailov for great looking design.
Designer Alexei Mikhailov isn’t out to convince people his iStick concept is the perfect mobile convergence device. In fact he clearly points out the iStick isn’t for viewing movies and the screen is too small for effective photo viewing. What it does have is a visual replication of the iPhone/Touch space inside a device the size of a lipstick tube.
