RideMaster - Virtual Horseback Riding Trainer!

If you are into riding horses, you will not want to miss out on the RideMaster,a virtual reality for horseback riding.  They even got racing-horse simulators and polo simlators for advanced riders.

The £40,000 virtual reality riding machine combines a mechanical horse with a host of electronic sensors and a screen, to recreate the joys of an outdoor ride without the need for mucking out.

The Ridemaster Pro, which is made by Racewood Simulators, is proving a hit with those who live in cities or who want to ride but don’t want to brave the elements.

Designer and company managing director Bill Greenwood said: “Private individuals buy them who don’t have space for a horse in central London.

New York City Waterfalls!

New York City Waterfalls!

Cool, New York City is going bonkers with waterfalls, even one on a bridge!

Public Art Fund, working in partnership with Tishman Construction Corporation, engaged a team of almost 200 design, engineering and construction professionals to build the Waterfalls, which are constructed with building elements that are ubiquitous throughout New York. Actual construction scaffolding forms the backbone of the Waterfalls, and pumps will cycle water from the East River to the top of each structure before it falls back into the river. Following the completion of The New York City Waterfalls in October, all scaffolding will be re-used in subsequent construction projects.

Speed Motorcycle!

Speed Motorcycle!

It’s probably impossible to ride on but still, it looks way futuristic.

I don’t know if the Speed Racer will ever go into production, but for a design with the balls to take elements from three iconic franchises (maybe four if you count TRON), the bike holds up well.

Here’s a fun DIY clock made from bike parts!

The clock is build out of bicycle parts. One of the design principles was to use only used elements. Edison once said that to invent you need good imagination and a pile of junk. The designers took his advice seriously.

The Bike clock was build by Yedidya Vardi and Vladimir Zviagintsev of the Ron Vardi Center for the Development of the Gifted, in Rishon Lezion - Israel
