DIY HACK - HOWTO Build your own Roll Up Keyboard!

Here’s a great instructables on how to build your own Roll Up Keyboard!
Have you ever wanted one of those pricy roll up keyboard but didn’t want to spend the money? Here is a quick and dirty way to make your own.
Atmel AVR HACK - Temperature Controller using Microcontroller AVR

Check out the Atmel AVR temperature controller hack, although I made a better one last year that can be controlled via ethernet, the case looks awesome!
Wine doesn’t like subzero temperatures, and during wintertime, my “winecellar” got pretty cold.
There was an electric heating element, but the thermostat was broken, so it was either full burn or nothing. That’s how the temperature monitor/controller came to be.
It was an obvious task for a small processor and I’ve always wanted to test the Dallas temperature sensors. So, I designed this little device which could monitor the temperature and control the heater.
Gamer Tries to Build Nuclear Reactor at Home, FBI Came Around to Play

Cool, this guy’s on TV for tryin’ to build a nuclear reactor. Too bad he didn’t have a SiteHoppin.com shirt on… :p
Apparently bored of his amateur game-building hobby, he decided to try to make a small-scale nuclear reaction in his room, blogging his antics on the web.
Someone blew the whistle on him when he made claims about uranium and doubling the normal background radiation count in his room, and the Nuclear Regulatory Commission raided his home. He won’t be getting his Darwin Award or even arrested, though, since the Feds didn’t find anything dangerous.
They did take away his toy though, embarrassingly because his parents asked them to. Defending his experiment in an interview he argued “People do it in universities all the time, it’s just not usual that somebody does it outside of a university”, which is pretty true, after all.
HOWTO use Internet Explorer in Firefox and protect yourself from spyware!

Here’s a quick 2AM post on how to use Internet Explorer in Firefox as a tab.
First, go to your Firewall application and deny Internet Explorer for incoming and outgoing network traffic. This will protect you against malicious IE hackers.
Second, download and install this cool IE tab Firefox extension for your Firefox.

Now, simply right click and select “View page in IE Tab” for any website you need to use IE.
I like this extension simply because I can view SiteHoppin in Firefox and IE without opening up 2 browsers.
DIY HACK - HOWTO Make Windows XP Look Like Fedora Linux!

I’ve been always a big fan of Linux, (although I am stuck with Windows XP most of the time because all my apps are on there…but I did use Linux before with 3 VMs running Windows to solve that problem.) here’s a cool way to make your Windows XP “look” like Fedora.
Another simple way? Delete Windows and install Fedora. Lol…
What about you Linux fans? Do you have all things linux at home, but at your day job you are forced into a world of Windows? Would you like to take some of your dignity back? If so, I have something cool for you.
It is the Fedora Transformation Pack for Windows XP. It is a skin that makes Windows look a lot like Fedora Linux. You can impress your friends, and show your ultimate geekyness by making Windows XP look like Linux.
DIY HACK - HOWTO disable Lexus and Prius navigation lockout!

Cool, here’s my friend Jason from Hackszine posting about how to disable Lexus and Prius navigation systems. I don’t own a Lexus or a Prius, just a gas-guzzlin’ Chevy, but this might come in handy when I do get one.
Here’s a short video showing you how to do it:
Click Here to View in Full Screen Mode
I’ve found that the best way to appreciate the navigation lockout feature is to disable it and see what driving without it is like. The navigation system contains a hidden service menu with a big Override button that lets you do just that.
There’s a secret combination to get to the service menu. The code you use depends on which version of the navigation system you have. They are all roughly the same, so just try them out and find the one that works with your vehicle.
SiteHoppin’ Entrecard Tech Blogs - DIY HACK - How to resolve low disk space error in iPod Touch!
I’ve summed up all the tech blog on Entrecard on SiteHoppin so you can use the following link to “site hop” tech blogs:

We will be doing a special, “Site Hoppin’” through all Entrecard tech blogs and (hopefully) get an interesting post per each one.

Here’s a cool iPod Touch hack you can use if you are experiencing low disk space error in iPod Touch!
Recently after I hacked my iPod touch, I start to install many third party softwares to suit my needs using iPod touch as a PDA. But somehow it shown “low disk space” error and ask me to clear some photo or video to get more disk space.
This make me confused because my iPod Touch has 16GB disk space and I only used up to 4GB plus, it should not be any problem by installing few hundred KBs software. After do some research and testin, I found a solution to resolve the low disk space in iPod Touch ( same method applied to iPhone).
SiteHoppin’ Entrecard Tech Blogs - Microcontroller AVR Oscilloscope
I’ve summed up all the tech blog on Entrecard on SiteHoppin so you can use the following link to “site hop” tech blogs:

Check out this AVR Oscilloscope. Nice hack…
This is one of great project based on AVR microcontroller. It use ATmega 32 as processor and LCD 128×64 pixels for display. If you need to measure low frequency i thought this project, AVR oscilloscope, will be usefull. Maksimum frequency for AVR oscilloscope is 5 kHz (square signal), other signals (sine or triangle) the frequency is lower ( almost 1 kHz) for having clear view of the signal. Voltage input range is 24V AC / 30V DC.
DIY HACK - HOWTO build a “Fire Alarm” Alarm Clock
Wow, this has to be the loudest and best solution for you doozers.
Ever sleep-in because your alarm clock wasn’t loud enough? With this design that is guaranteed not to happen! This hack takes a standard cheap alarm clock, some interface components and a fire alarm bell to get the job done right. Normally these small alarm clocks use a piezo buzzer to attempt to wake you up. The alarm signal is hijacked from the clock circuit board and used as an input to the interface board
