The Quarter Wiki - a new paid Online Encyclopedia!
As you know, the team of moonlighters at Zedomax.Net has been working on new paid wikis. We belive this concept of paid wikis will blow up soon and we have just started diggin’.
We first made Five Dollar Wiki, One Buck Wiki, then EntreWiki.
Now, we introduce you to the new younger brother, The Quarter Wiki where you can buy a page for just a quarter!
That’s right, our motto for this new site is, “In Wiki We Trust”.
We are still working on some functionalities of the site, so don’t blame us if you find a page under construction. We just wanted to let you know heads up on the new website so you can go reserve your pages before all the good ones get taken.
The Quarter Wiki is a new paid online encyclopedia where you can buy your own page for just a quarter.
Unlike Wikipedia, you can add videos, RSS Feeds, advertisements, and GoogleMaps to a page on the QuarterWiki.
More simply, QuarterWiki filters spam by charging a small fee for each page so you don’t have to deal with it.
To get started with QuarterWiki, sign up for an account and search for your desired words you’d like to purchase.
Mister Wong Bookmarking Site
I stumbled onto this Mister Wong Bookmarking site. It looks really cool…maybe we will make one like it.
Mister Wong is Europe’s largest portal of its kind, with over two million visitors per month. The service was founded by Kai Tietjen in March 2006. Though it started in German, Mister Wong is meanwhile available in Russian, Chinese, Spanish, and French. The German version already has over two million linked websites saved by its users.
The Web 2.0 T Shirt
This is a great stylish T shirt which has a list of 79 social networking sites in coloured tick boxes, which will impress some people and thoroughly confuse others.

The tick boxes are for you to tick before you wear it, that way those who about these sites will then know which ones you belong too.

It’s amazing that there are 79 social networking sites around, obviously we all know of the more famous ones, but there must be some really extremely obscure one on there too, where do I sign?

FixYa.com - For DIYers and ethically honest at heart HACKers!
Check out FixYa, it’s a sorta like a RSS Feed search Engine.
(Spy Stats: FixYa.com has PR6 and has 1680 backlinks on Google. Pretty good stuff.)
Meaning it will pull up hundreds of relevant articles for the topic, “how to fix something”.
Interesting if this is sign of Web3.0. = RSS + Wiki + Blog + Optimized Server Code for Search.
Maybe someone will quickly think of hooking up a Wordpress blog with the MediaWik…
Anyways, FixYa just looked great to me from the get-go. I think it’s the homepage that makes difference between sell and no-sell…
It seems like Twitter.com and BbPress are having something in common. They are both simple and support tags and RSS and works with Wordpress Database.
We should have a DIY on how to setup your own BbPress for your new blog.

Zedomax Maker Faire 2007 Coverage - Sit and Pedal Persistence of Vision!

Click Here to View in Full Screen Mode
It’s been a blast yet we’ve been able to get barely 5 hours sleep. But we will get all this cool stuff posted.
Mayhem & Chaos brings you some really cool sit and pedal POV (Persistence of Vision) using recycled bicycle parts.
I guess Mayhem took it to Burning Man every year. Cool… I gotta go one of these days.
Thanks Mayhem for letting us take a vid!
Chocolate Keyboard

Cool, doesn’t Chocolate Keyboard the most delicious of all? Well, you’d probably have to visit your friendly dentist if you eat all of the keyboard at one sitting. Just take it easy.
