Dell Mini Hack - How to install a GPS!
Here’s a cool hack that shows you how to install a GPS seamlessly into your Dell Mini Inspiron 9 netbook.
I started by tearing the Mini down and seeing if it was even possible. Luckily, there’s a bit of space around where the Bluetooth adapter is located. It wasn’t much, but it looked like enough, so I ordered the smallest USB GPS receiver I could find. It’s a nice unit with a SkyTraQ chipset and support for AGPS. Once I used the included utility to download an AGPS update into the unit, it gets a location fix in about five seconds after a reset.
Digital Camera Hack - How to Control a Nikon or Canon Digital Camera with Nintendo DS!

Here’s a really cool hack that shows you how to control a Nikon or Canon digital camera using Nintendo DS.
A funny cool thing happens once the camera is controlled by what is essentially a instant-on computer. Where the Canon 5D can do a bracket of three shots, spread two stops apart, and the latest 1DS MKIII series can do a nine shot bracket, the “DS-DSLR” can do any number of shots, and if I don’t like the way it does it, I can rewrite the software to do it better.
The DS can run in bulb-mode as well, so I can do automated exposures of several minutes beyond the thirty second limit of tethered laptop software, as well as allow for sensor cooling between bursts. This will come in handy when the Astrotrac I ordered from Richard Taylor at the P.A.T.S. show last week finally arrives from the U.K.
Amazon Hack - How to Watch Free Amazon Videos!

Here’s a cool hack I found on Yahoo News, it’s a hack that lets you watch free Amazon videos using the security hole:
(I don’t think this will last too long once Amazon finds out so we suggest you to take advantage before they close the security hole)
The free demo version of Replay Media Catcher allows anyone to watch 75 percent of anything recorded and 100 percent of YouTube videos. For $39, a user can watch everything recorded.
One Web site — www.tvadfree.com — explains step-by-step how to use the video stream catching software.
Amazon.com’s Adobe-powered Video On Demand service allows viewers to watch the first two minutes of a movie or TV show for free. It charges up to $3.99 to rent a movie for 24 hours and up to $14.99 to download a movie permanently.
Amazon starts to stream the entire movie during the free preview — even though it pauses the video on the Web browser after the first two minutes — so that users can start watching the rest of the video right away once they pay.
“It’s the traditional trade-off, convenience on the one hand and security on the other,” said Ray Valdes, analyst at research group Gartner.
However, even if a user doesn’t pay, the stream still sends the movie to the video catching software, but not the browser.
Phone HACK - How to Unblock Blocked Caller-ID Numbers!
Click Here to View in Full Screen Mode
Here’s a cool hack showing you how to unblock blocked caller-ID numbers.
*This is informational purposes only. Do not use this hack unless you are a law enforcement agent.
In a demonstration video, a hacker tweaks said asterisk box with some new configurations to strip out privacy flags, forward the call to another number, and ultimately reveal caller ID information which, surprisingly, is still available. This isn’t meant to be easy, but if the terms “prepend,” “SIP trunk,” and “asterisk box” don’t scare you away, go ahead and watch the video after the break.

Firefox 3 Hack - How to Consolidate your Menu Buttons!

Firefox 3 Hack - How to Disable Blinking Text in Firefox!

Here’s a cool hack for disabling the blink settings on your Firefox 3.
o extension or user script required: just type
about:configin Firefox’s address bar, press the “I’ll be careful, I promise!” button, and then in the Filter field, enterbrowser.blink_allowed. Change the value for that key from true to false, and you’re good to go, no more blinking, ever again.
DIY iPhone HACK - How to get Free Online Magazines!
Well, here’s another cool hack that lets you get free online magazines using the same hack to get free wifi at Starbucks.
You have an iPhone, or the handy User Agent Switcher for Firefox, there are a couple of sites that offer free digital versions of several popular magazines. I guess the idea is to try and capture email addresses, but you can cancel through the input boxes and get straight to the content fairly easily.
If you are using Firefox, you can fake your browser into reporting itself to web servers as an iPhone by downloading User Agent Switcher and adding an “iPhone” entry with the following user agent string under Tools->User Agent Switcher->Options:
Mozilla/5.0 (iPhone; U; CPU like Mac OS X; en) AppleWebKit/420.1 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/3.0 Mobile/4A102 Safari/419 (United States)
Once you’ve switched to that user agent profile, most sites will think you are browsing from the iPhone platform and display the content that is targeted to that device - in this case, free magazines. The two sites that provide magazine content targeted to the iPhone are:
