DIY HACK - HOWTO build your own in-car PC!

Here’s a good one on how to build your own in-car PC! Although I wouldn’t recommended as people woud probably rob you as quickly as you install it.
As a marine electrician I’ve installed a few desktops in yachts to avoid the above mentioned problems so when I bought a used Grand Caravan in July and it had this empty space between the front seats I thought, why not? The first task was to measure the distance between the seats and see if anyone made a case that could fit there.

DIY QUICK HACK - HOWTO make a bathroom ventilation fan using a PC fan in just 1 minute!

Okay, I haven’t been doing much DIYs but here’s a fun one for your bathroom.
Here’s the story:
My bathroom has a vent but no fan. Everytime I shower, the vent does not work well enough to ventilate the bathroom of the fog generated.
So, I decided to build a small little bathroom ventilation fan using some PC fans I had laying around the house and a 12 DC adaptor I also had around.
What you need:
1 PC Fan
1 12V DC Adaptor (You probably have one laying around the house too, you just don’t realize it. Look at the label of any old adaptors you have and find the one that says 12VDC. (9 to 15VDC works too)
2 screws (something to mount your PC fan onto your bathroom vent.
Now, just watch the video and see how simple it is to turn household junk into a useful bathroom vent.
Ping Pong ball printer
This is a good idea for businesses to use and possibly a great idea for a business. The Ping Pong printer prints all over the entire ball making it into a great piece of marketing material which can be used anywhere there is a table.

The ball is placed into the rotating holder and the words are sprayed on using ink droplets which builds up into a load of droplets and then a word, it looks great and can be very attractive.

It’s really annoying when you are out and about with your laptop and you get the feeling that the person next to you is looking at what you are doing. And this screen could do the job for you.

However it does not look very good and people are probably going to look at you even more because of the rainbow effect thing that is on the side of your computer! It depends on how desperate you are for to keep someone from looking at your work, but then again, what have you got hide!

Mini DS lite
You will need some very tiny fingers for the controls on this device, you would probably need some glasses too even see the screen properly.

But as you may have already gathered this is a mock up of a mini DS lite, which means that it will be easy enough for you to build your own mini games machine, but possible will not have too much fun with it.
