Check out this cool design for a speaker called Sound Shelf, basically a shelf with surround speakers built-in to the lining.  I could see this design take off if it reaches the market, do you?  It’d be great if they sold it as iPod dock speakers/shelves.

The iPod craze has definitely made a large market for iPod accessories, which happens to include speakers.  This would be great for teens and college students to have a spot for their school books and a convenient way to play their music throughout the day.  The idea of the design was to make the speakers a part of the room by serving an actual purpose, besides playing your music.   Quite obviously they definitely succeeded.  It was designed by the Polish designers Witek Stefaniak and Anielka Zdanowicz, hopefully these speakers will get sold sometime soon.

Yes, this would be perfect for college kids or even professionals who live in metropolitan cities that need to save every bit of space.

College students from Korea are working on their senior year project, that’s right, an interactive toilet that will make sounds and display different shapes of pictures on an LCD based on the size and shape of “poop”.

This is very interesting as I’ve always wanted to hear something else than my regular ol’ “poop”.
